Versix privacy

Updated on October 23, 2026

Translation provided for information only: in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Versix is played without an account: no email, no password. Your raw scores, your records, your locker and your settings stay on your phone. Only what the leaderboard and exchanges between players require is sent online, as described below.

Who is responsible

Versix is published by Aurora North Studio, trade name of the sole proprietorship MONSIEUR CEDRIC REBOUX (Cédric Reboux), SIREN 107 979 528, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris. For any question about your data: contact@studio-aurora-north.com.

What is sent online, and why

DataWhyWho sees it
An anonymous identifier, created per device when you first publish a scoreLinking your points to your profile, without an accountNo one sees it in clear
Profile: username, chosen photo or portrait, emblem, frame, title, whether you enable reactions and chatShowing you on the leaderboardAll players
Points per event and per day (tournament, Custom League, Practice) — never the raw score or the length of a gameDaily, weekly and season leaderboards; divisionsAll players
Reactions: an emoji and a quick phrase chosen from a listGreeting another playerYou and the player concerned; others only see a count

Your profile photo is downsized on the phone before it is sent. Messages go through a word filter and are limited in length and number, and a message reported by several players is hidden. Reactions and chat can be turned off in the settings.

Friend challenges go through no server: the code contains the game to replay. Reminders are local notifications, computed on the phone, at most one per day; you can turn them off in the settings.

Legal basis: performance of the service you request by publishing to the leaderboard or writing in the chat.

Advertising

Versix is free and funded by Google AdMob advertising: an ad after a finished game, a banner on some screens, an ad when the app opens (never before your first game). A game is never interrupted. Nothing can be bought with real money.

In Europe, your consent is requested before any ad is loaded (Google UMP form); on iPhone, tracking permission is requested by the system. If you decline, ads remain non-personalized and the game stays complete. You can change your mind at any time in Settings › Privacy. AdMob may process the device’s advertising identifier, the IP address and technical information, in accordance with Google’s policy.

Service providers

  • Supabase — database and storage of leaderboard photos.
  • Google AdMob — advertising and consent form.
  • Google Firebase Remote Config — checking whether a game update is available. No audience measurement or crash reporting.

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union (notably in the United States); such transfers are then governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long

  • Chat messages: erased 35 days after they are sent.
  • Profile, points, reactions: for as long as the profile exists, or until you request erasure.
  • Data kept on the phone: until the game is uninstalled.

Deleting your data

Write to contact@studio-aurora-north.com following the Delete my data page, stating your username: profile, photo, points, reactions and messages are erased within 30 days. Uninstalling the game erases what is on the phone.

Age

Versix is not specifically directed at children. Ads are limited to content rated “T” (Teen) at most.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or erased, request a copy of it, object to its processing or request that processing be restricted, by writing to contact@studio-aurora-north.com. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Changes

This policy follows the game: when an update changes the data processed, the policy is revised and its date above changes.
