Tiny Evolution privacy

Updated on October 23, 2026

Translation provided for information only: in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Tiny Evolution saves your game on your phone. The online profile is optional: without it, nothing from your game leaves the phone, apart from what advertising, purchases and content download require, as described below.

Who is responsible

Tiny Evolution is published by Aurora North Studio, trade name of the sole proprietorship MONSIEUR CEDRIC REBOUX (Cédric Reboux), SIREN 107 979 528, 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris. For any question about your data: contact@studio-aurora-north.com.

On your phone

The full save (progress, collection, settings) and its backup copy. They are erased along with the game.

The online profile (optional)

It gives you a username (2 to 16 characters) and a recovery code to get your game back on another phone. No email, no password. With it, the following are sent:

  • your username, avatar, language, title and rank;
  • your results (best scores, regions conquered, medals, crowns) for the leaderboard, visible to all players;
  • a copy of your save, sent automatically, at most every 45 seconds;
  • the device model, and the friend code if you refer someone or were referred.

Legal basis: performance of the service you request by creating the profile.

Server checks

To protect the leaderboard, purchases and referrals against fraud (legitimate interest), the server also keeps:

  • the order numbers of your purchases and the entitlement they grant, to verify receipts with the store and restore a purchase;
  • the time hearts were lost;
  • an encrypted fingerprint of the device for referrals (a phone can only refer once), kept for 365 days;
  • an encrypted fingerprint of the IP address, to limit abuse, kept for 48 hours;
  • username reports: a reported username may be hidden for up to 72 hours while it is reviewed;
  • scores kept off the leaderboard because they are impossible, kept for 180 days.

Advertising and purchases

The game shows Google AdMob ads: at most one ad every three defeats that cost a heart (never in Survival, never with the “No ads” purchase), and videos you choose to watch in exchange for a reward. In Europe, your consent is requested (Google UMP form) and can be changed with the AD PRIVACY CHOICES button; on iPhone, tracking permission is requested by the system. AdMob may process the advertising identifier, the IP address and technical information, in accordance with Google’s policy.

Payments are processed by Google Play or the App Store: we never see your bank details, only the purchase receipt.

Notifications

Local reminders (“Your hearts are full!”, new daily challenges), scheduled on the phone, after your consent. A switch in the settings turns them off.

Service providers

  • Supabase — online profile, leaderboard, save, purchase verification.
  • Google AdMob — advertising and consent.
  • Google Play and Apple — payments.
  • Cloudflare — download of the game content on first launch.

No audience measurement or crash reporting tools.

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union (notably in the United States); such transfers are then governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Deleting your profile

In the game: PROFILE › Delete my profile, then confirm. The profile, online save, recorded purchases, lost hearts and reports are erased immediately. An encrypted fingerprint of the profile identifier is kept, with no other data, to prevent it from being recreated identically. Without access to the game: see the Delete my data page.

Audience

Tiny Evolution is intended for adults.

Your rights

You may access your data, have it corrected or erased, request a copy of it, object to its processing or request that processing be restricted, by writing to contact@studio-aurora-north.com. We reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

Changes

This policy follows the game: when an update changes the data processed, the policy is revised and its date above changes.
